For Japanese department store Tokyu Hands, Jason Markk has produced a customized version of its signature two-piece Essentials cleaning kit. Though the composition of Markk’s distinctive solution and stiff-bristled brush remains unchanged, the bottle and brush — as well as the package in which they are packaged — feature special graphic details for a touch of Tokyu Hands flair.
Normally, packaging has a purple accent, but this one has a strip of Tokyu Hands’ distinctive green on the bottom and a co-branded element on top. The word “Premium” runs up the right side of the container, connecting with the clear plastic glass that shows the cleaning solution and brush within. The 4 oz bottle of shoe cleaning, like its packaging, has a green strip and Tokyu Hands embellishment, but instead of clear plastic, it’s made of opaque white plastic. The brush that comes with it has thick bristles for thorough cleaning and a wood handle with lasered Jason Mark/Tokyu Hands graphics.
