With IndyCar winner Alex Palou, Max Verstappen returned to endurance simulation motorsport, but his race was cut short due to complications at the beginning.
After colliding at the opening of the Virtual Sebring 12 Hours, Max Verstappen’s comeback to endurance sim motorsport was welcomed with controversy.
The 2021 IndyCar champion Alex Palou and the Dutchman both started the race in the same Team Redline vehicle.
The car was too broken to complete the race when he brought it back to the pits following the collision with another GTB class car.
Verstappen previously referred to the Le Mans Virtual as “a clown show” because of technical issues earlier this year, during which he was disconnected as a result of problematic servers.
