Maximum Destruction (commonly shortened as Max-D) is a futuristic SUV monster truck owned by Tom Meents and FELD Entertainment. It was originally Goldberg before it became Team Meents and finally, its current name, Maximum Destruction. Maximum Destruction is one of the most popular trucks in Monster Jam, mostly for a reputation of living up to its name that best describes its freestyle performances, especially with creator Meents behind the wheel. Since the truck’s debut, it has been the main rival to Monster Jam’s other flagship truck Grave Digger, especially when piloted by Meents and Grave Digger creator Dennis Anderson respectively, with their competitive rivalry beginning long before the debut of Maximum Destruction.

The two have been longtime rivals in the monster truck industry, although the two are friends off the track. Meents and FELD Motorsports co-own the truck, similar to Anderson’s management of Team Grave Digger. There are presently four Maximum Destruction trucks, with currently two of them competing full-time, one on hiatus, and one used for stunts.
