In a Formula 1 Grand Prix, a racer can receive a maximum of 26 points, but what if there are extenuating circumstances that affect the result of the race?

Because of bad weather, only two circuits were completed under the Safety Car during the 2021 Belgian Grand Prix, which led to criticism.

From the 2022 season onward, modifications were made to improve the proportionality of race results when there are weather-related cancellations.
