Bottas and Wolff sign off for one last time before the Finn joins Alfa Romeo ahead of the 2022 F1 season.
Valtteri Bottas and Toto Wolff recently met for the final time before the Finn departs Mercedes for Alfa Romeo in the 2022 Formula One season.
Bottas was instrumental in Mercedes’ incredible success in Formula One’s turbo-hybrid era, winning the Constructors’ Championship in each of the five seasons he was with the team.
From 101 races, he earned 10 victories, 20 pole positions, and 58 podium finishes.
Bottas will be replaced by George Russell, who has signed a multi-year contract with Alfa Romeo for 2022 and beyond, and will be Lewis Hamilton’s new teammate.
