As the development race moves forward quickly, all F1 teams will be bringing update packages to this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.

Mercedes, one of the teams in the lead, has delivered the most comprehensive package with performance upgrades to its front wing endplate, floor fences, floor body, and rear wing.

The RB18’s sidepods have been reprofiled at Red Bull to assist with cooling requirements particular to circuits, while the rear suspension shroud has been reprofiled to improve performance.

Due to the high-speed requirements of the Spa track, Ferrari has made two tweaks that are race-specific, including beam wing designs and top rear wings with lower downforce that reduce drag.

What about the remaining F1 competitors?

In addition to the aforementioned three teams, McLaren has made the most changes to the racetrack since the summer vacation.

The rear wing, beam wing, rear corner, engine cover, and cooling louvres have all had circuit-specific modifications, while the diffuser, rear corner, and front suspension have experienced performance-oriented improvements.

Aston Martin, Williams, and Alfa Romeo have adjusted their front and rear wings, while Alpine has new rear corner and floor fences and AlphaTauri has changed its rear suspension, rear corner, rear wing, and beam wing.

Haas added a new rear corner and beam wing in Belgium to round out the set of 10 squads.
