This is Mercedes’ eighth consecutive double World Championship car, which they just unveiled with the W12. Toto Wolff’s team is rejoining Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
Mercedes will start the Formula One World Championship as the favorites in 2021. Formula One’s rules have changed minimally this season, therefore the team can continue as it has in recent seasons.
The only part of the floor that Mercedes had to be on the watch for in the winter is the part that is now required to be removed. In comparison to other teams, the W11 required a greater angle off the floor due to its longer wheelbase. So we’ll have to wait and see how things go for Red Bull Racing in Bahrain’s maiden Grand Prix.
Sponsor INEOS has provided the red accents for the car, which is mostly black like previous year. Nothing has changed in the cockpit. Lewis Hamilton’s teammate Valtteri Bottas begins his fifth season in the sport. This is probably his last chance to become F1 world champion, as George Russell could replace him in 2022.
