Coca-Cola has spent four billion dollars on Cristiano Ronaldo’s gesture

After Cristiano Ronaldo disparagingly removed two Coca-Cola bottles from their place during his news conference on Monday, the company’s value plummeted by around four billion dollars.

The Portugal star is known for being a strong supporter of healthy living and is opposed to fizzy drinks like Coca Cola.

The attacker sat down and pushed two bottles of Coke to one side as he arrived for his media responsibilities ahead of Portugal’s first Euro 2020 game against Hungary. He then raised a bottle of water with purpose.

The message was clear, and it has had an influence on the financial world in addition to becoming popular on social media.

Anyone who doubted Ronaldo’s words and behavior will no longer do so.

Ronaldo has previously stated that he tries to keep his son away from fizzy beverages.

“Occasionally my son drinks Coca Cola or Fanta and eats crisps and he knows I don’t like that,” Ronaldo has said in the past.

Portugal fans will be hoping that Ronaldo has the same impact on the pitch as he does on the stock market on Tuesday evening.
