Pramac Racing has unveiled their 2022 MotoGPTM livery, as the Italian team prepares for a new season under new Team Manager Claudio Calabresi.

Rookie of the Year for the Year in 2021 Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco were on hand to remove the covers off their GP22s, both of whom have big expectations for this season. Martin finished fourth in his maiden MotoGPTM season, with four poles, one victory, one second, and two thirds, with many predicting a title challenge for the Spaniard.

Zarco is also looking to tie together a Championship attack. After finishing fifth overall in 2021 with four second-place finishes, the Frenchman’s first ambition will be to win a premier class race for the first time.

Paolo Campinoti: “This year’s goal is to reconfirm ourselves on very important levels after the excellent results of last season. 2021 has shown that hard work, associated with the great professionalism of the people who make up the team, brings great results.

“The relationship we have created with Johann and Jorge is special and the rankings speak for themselves: Best Team Independent, Best Rider Independent and Rookie of the Year, Pramac Racing’s best season. I can’t wait to get started, we expect great things.”

Claudio Calabresi: “This is my first time as a Team Manager and I will do my best to take Pramac Racing even higher. I am sure that Johann and Jorge will give us a big hand, who already in 2021 did an exceptional job. This year the challenge is fascinating: to confirm ourselves and grow further. We have great ambitions and we will do everything to give our fans a lot of satisfaction.”

Fonsi Nieto: “The whole team is working hard to get off to a great start. We want to reconfirm ourselves among the most competitive MotoGP teams. Last year with Johann and Jorge we did incredible things, now we want to raise the bar again and fight for the top positions in every race. I think we have all the credentials to achieve great goals.”

Johann Zarco: “I am really happy to be racing another season with Pramac Racing. Continuity is important to improve and to carry out ambitious projects. We have built an excellent relationship with the team and I am very satisfied with what we have done last season. I can’t wait to leave for tests and get on the bike. It will be a great season.”

Jorge Martin: “Last season was the most intense of my life, a succession of very strong emotions, moments of great difficulty but also of extreme happiness. Together with Pramac Racing we have started to build something special. Last year we laid the foundations, this year we are ready for great things.”
