During the NASCAR Cup Series race at Road America in Wisconsin on Sunday, July 4, you won’t have any trouble picking Bubba Wallace’s car out of the pack.

The 23XI Racing driver will be driving a Toyota Camry sponsored by Dr. Pepper, which will have a large photo of him enjoying a can of the soda among a field of pixelated hearts.

Fans chose the unusual livery in an online poll.

The sign “Eat My Bubbles” is displayed above the rear bumper for everybody he passes, and if history is anything to go by, he may leave a few people in his carbonated wake.

Wallace is coming off a season-best fifth-place result in the Cup Series at Pocono Raceway, and he finished fifth and ninth in his two prior Xfinity Series appearances at Road America, which has been racing on the road circuit since 2010.

The Cup Series hasn’t visited the track since 1956, so there isn’t much to go on, but according to BetMGM, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and Martin Truex Jr. are the favorites to win.

Wallace isn’t the first driver to race with his face on the hood of his car. At the 2019 Daytona 500, Corey LaJoie’s car had an even more unusual design.

It was part of an Old Spice sponsorship that unfortunately resulted in his mug looking a touch shot when the car was damaged as a result of the collision.
