CONCORD, N.C. (WTVD) – After setting the fastest qualifying laps of the four teammates at Road America, William Byron and Kyle Larson will lead the Hendrick Motorsports cars from the first row. Larson will start second and Byron will take the green from the Busch pole position.
In the final round of qualifying, Larson, Byron, and Alex Bowman will have ten minutes to record the quickest lap to secure the pole position. Alex Bowman performed quickly and qualified in the top ten. Chase Elliott was caught in both cautions during qualifying and was unable to complete a full lap, relegating him to 34th for the race’s main event.
