Lando Norris has shared what fans can expect from him in the season 4 of Netflix’s Drive to Survive, which is set to premiere soon.
Lando Norris has hinted what his upcoming Drive to Survive scenes will involve.
Norris, like many F1 fans, is excited for the fourth season of the hit Netflix drama to premiere.
During the 2021 campaign, the McLaren driver permitted cameras to film him, but quipped that some of the footage didn’t portray him in his finest light.
“I hope so. Of course, they’ve been following me around,” Norris said to GQ when asked if audiences will see a lot of him in the upcoming season of Drive to Survive.
“I did a few things with them at home as well, a couple scenes of us playing golf. I probably looked really terrible because I did some of the worst shots I’ve ever done while I was filming for it. But yeah, I hope so.”
Norris is excited to watch Drive to Survive
Despite his worries about the golf scenes, Norris is looking forward to watching the new series after a great 2021 season.
“I had a decent year, so I’m sure you’ll see me and the other drivers – maybe not all of them, but most of the other drivers – in it,” the Briton said.
“I look forward to seeing it as well when it comes out.”
Although Norris enjoys the show, not all of the other drivers do.
Despite his title struggle with Lewis Hamilton being among the most talked-about topics of 2021, Max Verstappen has already stated that he will not be participating in the new series of Drive to Survive.
Verstappen is not a fan of the Netflix series
Given his significant role in the sport, Verstappen will undoubtedly appear in the next season through existing footage, but he acknowledged that he did not record any unique pieces for Netflix.
“I understand that it needs to be done to boost the popularity in America,” Verstappen told The Associated Press.
“But from my side as a driver, I don’t like being part of it. They faked a few rivalries which they don’t really exist, so I decided to not be a part of it and did not give any more interviews after that, because then there is nothing you can show.
“I am not really a dramatic show kind of person, I just want facts and real things to happen.”
